The University of Cambridge examinations are proof of your language abilities by more than 10,000 employers, universities and government bodies around the world. Pre A1 Starters, A1 Movers e o A2 Flyers Cambridge English Qualifications These tests introduce children to everyday written and spoken English and are an excellent way for them to gain confidence and improve their English.

Cambridge English: A2 Key or A2 Key for Schools (formerly known as Key KET) this exam which recognises the ability to deal with everyday written and spoken English at a basic level. Level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

Cambridge English: B1 Preliminary or B1 for Schools (formerly known as Preliminary - PET) this exam is for people who can use everyday written and spoken English at an intermediate level. It covers all four language skills — reading, writing, listening and speaking. deal with most of the situations you might meet when travelling as a tourist in an English-speaking country. Level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

Cambridge English: B2 First or B2 First for Schools (formerly known as First Certificate in English - FCE) is for people who can use everyday written and spoken English at an upper-intermediate level. It is an ideal exam for people who want to use English for work or study purposes. Levels B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

Cambridge English: C1 Advanced (formerly known as Advanced - CAE). This exam is aimed at people who can use written and spoken English for most professional and social purposes. Its is recognized by the majority of Universities as fulfilling the English entrance language requirements. Level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

Cambridge English: C2 Proficiency (formerly known as Proficiency CPE) this international exam, recognised by hundreds of employers as proof of proficiency in English and also by universities and colleges as proof of ability to study in English to undergraduate level. Levels C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

Cambridge English: B1 Business Preliminary (formerly known as Business Preliminary BEC Preliminary) are internationally recognised qualifications that show employers your skills for using English in the workplace. B1 Business Preliminary is an ideal English language exam if you are preparing for a career in business. There are three different levels of B1 Business Preliminary, B2 Business Vantage e o C1 Business Higher. Levels B1 and C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

ILEC —The International Legal English Certificate is an internationally recognised benchmark test of language ability. Cambridge ILEC was created to meet the needs of both employers and lawyers. It is also suitable for law students intending to follow courses which include significant English language content — either in their own country or abroad. Levels B2 and C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

ICFE - International Certificate in Financial English this certificate can be used as proof of the ability in English necessary to work in an international finance context or to follow a course of accountancy or finance study at university level. . Levels B2 and C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

IELTS —International English Language testing System the tests are designed to cover the full range of ability from non–user to expert user. Test takers receive a score of 0–9, with 0 being for those who did not attempt the test, and 9 being for the most proficient users. Most universities accept scores between 6–7 as being suitable for undergraduate study in English. .

Cambridge exams are usually administered three times a year.  United School can prepare you for any of the above exams, inform you of the exam dates and help with registration.

The DELE - Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera issued by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry for Education, are official qualifications accrediting levels of competence and command of the Spanish language. United School offers preparation for all the DELE exams, can provide information of examination dates and assist you with the registration process

DELE A1 - Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera this qualification attests to sufficient linguistic ability for a very basic range of the most commonly simple expressions used in the Spanish-speaking world and in order to satisfy immediate needs of a concrete type. Levels A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

DELE A2 Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera this qualification attests to sufficient linguistic ability for understanding a basic range of the commonly simple and immediate relevance of expressions used in the Spanish-speaking world (basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). Levels A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

DELE B1 - Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera this qualification attests to sufficient linguistic ability for understanding and responding appropriately in most normal day-to-day situations and for expressing desires and needs in a basic way. Levels B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

DELE B2 - Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera this qualification validates sufficient linguistic ability to get by in average day-to-day situations in normal communication circumstances, which do not require specialized use of the language. Levels B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

DELE C2 - Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera this qualification accredits the necessary linguistic competence to integrate in situations requiring an advanced use of the language and knowledge of the cultural customs embedded within it. Level C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

DELF - Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française

DALF - Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française

The DELF and DALF consist of 6 diplomas independent from each other:

The DELF A1 and A2 for the elementary user validates a basic knowledge of French and a "survival" level for daily life.

The DELF B1 and B2 for the independent user confirms a good knowledge of French and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing covering a wide range of topics within the modern French language.

The DALF C1 and C2 for the proficient user validates fluent and spontaneous communication skills at highest level and include specialized topics, chosen by the candidate himself. Candidates who have been awarded the DALF C1 or DALF C2 are exempted from language entrance examinations in French Universities.

Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

United School language Institute prepares its students for the Goethe-Institute exams they are well known throughout the world and the associated certificates are accepted as a qualification by employers and further education institutions in many countries.

Start Deutsch 1 - The test is equivalent to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages level A1, which has a total of 6 levels. It shows the ability to use language at a basic level.

Start Deutsch 2 – The test proves that you can make yourself understood in simple German. The examination corresponds to level A2 on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Goethe Zertifikat Deutsch (ZD) - Candidates must show that they have solid basic skills in German that will enable them to cope linguistically with all main everyday situations. They should have mastered the main grammatical structures of the language and be able to describe simple topics orally and in writing. This exam is accepted by Germany authorities as proof of language skills required when applying for German citizenship. This test corresponds to level B1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Goethe-Zertifikat - The diploma certifies that candidates have a good knowledge of standard German, enabling them to speak and write on a wide range of topics almost faultlessly and comprehend more complicated texts. This test corresponds to level B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Goethe-Zertifikat (ZMP) is widely known throughout the world. Employers generally consider it to prove solid language skills.

The certificate exempts students from a range of language entrance examinations into German institutions of higher education.

Candidates must show they have a good command of the regional variations of standard German. Candidates must be able to understand complex authentic texts and to express themselves accurately both orally and in writing. This test corresponds to level C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Goethe-Zertifikat Zentrale Oberstufenprüfung (ZOP) and the Kleines Deutsches Sprachdiplom (KDS) - Candidates must show they have a good command of the regional variations of standard German. Candidates must be able to understand complex authentic texts and to express themselves accurately both orally and in writing. The Exam consists of: Written section: text analysis, tasks that test the ability to express oneself, essay, listening comprehension and an oral examination. Candidates who pass the ZOP are exempt from the language entrance examinations to German universities. This test corresponds to level C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

CIPLE - Certificado Inicial de Português Língua Estrangeira tests general basic capacity to deal with a limited number of predictable everyday communicative situations. Whether in the workplace or studying, holders of the CIPLE are expected to deal with communicative situations requiring very limited use of Portuguese which is no different from the general use of the language. This examination corresponds to level A2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

DEPLE - Diploma Elementar De Português Língua Estrangeira. This examination tests grammatical and lexical structures expected to be for successful production and comprehension of written and oral texts. At this level users are expected to deal with a number of situations in everyday life, in the workplace and while studying which require mostly predictable use of the language.  This examination corresponds to level B1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

DIPLE - Diploma Intermédio De Português Língua Estrangeira. This examination certifies that users have independence that allows them to deal with a variety of communicative situations and have already developed linguistic mechanisms of communication, namely, of identifying and handling principal lexical-syntactic and syntactic-semantic language structures which allow a certain degree of flexibility and an ability to deal with the unexpected. This examination corresponds to level B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

DAPLE - Diploma Avançado De Português Língua Estrangeira. This certification certifies that candidates are able to produce and identify with confidence and ease lexical-syntactic and syntactic-semantic structures used in oral and written texts, are aware of the existence of an intrinsic relationship between language and culture This level allows users to work in contexts in which Portuguese is the language of communication as well as in contexts in which it is only the language of work. This level also allows users to follow academic courses. This examination corresponds to level C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

DUPLE - Diploma Universitário De Português Língua Estrangeira. This examination certifies that candidates have communicative competence which allows them to use the language with much confidence and ease. Candidates are able to extend their active and passive vocabulary and improve their command of register in both written and oral texts. This level allows users to work in situations in which Portuguese is a language of work or/and language of communication as well as to follow academic courses. This examination corresponds to level C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
