United School offers group courses in General English for Seniors online or faceto face. These classes are specifically structured for the age group. The course combines structured language input with plentiful opportunities to use the language naturally with other learners. Topics have been chosen for their interest and relevance and the activities have been designed to provide adults with the opportunity to talk about their experiences, express opinions and exchange ideas.

Whatever your level, United School teachers will help you become confident and work towards fluent English. Our current General English Courses are divided into various levels according to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Lower level classes have a substantial element of Everyday English, while many of the classes at the Upper-Intermediate level are preparing for the Cambridge exams.

The teachers use a communicative, multi-skills approach to develop the student's foreign language abilities in an interesting and motivational way. At the Upper-Intermediate level students can enter preparation courses for the Cambridge exams.

United School has a variety of English courses for children from the age of 3 to 12 years old online or face to face. With our Younger Learners the emphasis is on learning English through songs, stories, video, projects and crafts, carefully selected for each age group. The children are constantly exposed to natural language in the classroom and are given every encouragement to use the language they have acquired from very early on. There is a strong focus on oral fluency, pronunciation and listening skills.

Junior students will develop a sound base in English grammar and vocabulary while using a highly communicative approach to learning. Students are placed into groups depending on their age, level of English and previous language learning experience. We also hold a number of socio-cultural events for the children, including Halloween, Christmas parties and other activities related to Anglo Saxon cultures.

Students are in addition prepared for the Young Learners of English Cambridge Exams.

The progress of our older children and Junior students is monitored by Progress Tests at the end of each term. Reports are then sent out to parents. Parents are free to make an appointment to speak to the Director, Assistant Director of Studies or their child's teacher, at any time during the school year.

Our  intensive courses called “Summer Kids” are intended occupy children in an educational manner, during the summer holidays. These courses are available online or face to face.

These courses have been specially developed to create a fun and active learning environment, through games songs and many other playful activities.

Juniors & Teens

The intensive juniors courses  are  aimed  to provide an introduction to students  who are attending  for  the  first time, lessons  in English, Spanish, French or German,  they  can serve as a revision and also deepen  the knowledge of the target language. These courses are available online or face to face.

The students are grouped according to their age and levels.

The intensive adult courses are geared for people who need to master a language, quickly and effectively and courses are available in the areas of initiation, improvement and specific themes. These courses are available online or face to face.

Studies have shown that it is never too early to start teaching children a foreign language. The earlier children start learning a second language, the better, even as early as 3 months. Many teachers and linguists recommend starting the language learning process as soon as possible, even before children become verbal in their first language. Even though children are not speaking at that point, they are actively absorbing and processing language. This is why United School has developed a course structured specifically for very young children "Baby Talk".

This program is especially designed to provide children with hands on contact with the language through music, movements, rhymes, stories and games. The classes are in small groups once a week for 45 minutes. The babies attend these classes with a parent, a family member or an adult they may have a close family relationship with.

The course "Baby Talk" has been divided into 3 groups:

Private classes are completely tailor-made courses in English, Spanish, French, German or Portuguese for Foreigners in which your teacher will work closely with you to identify your needs and objectives. A One-to-One course will quickly improve your general or specialised skills. We cater for many professional areas, including marketing, finance, law and sales. We can help you to prepare for business presentations, negotiations or meetings, and develop key skills such as telephoning, business correspondence and report writing. You can also prepare for International examinations.

Class scheduling is flexible: students can arrange with their teacher the time and duration of the classes. United School can also provide language classes at your place of work , arrange for courses abroad, online or face to face.
