Courses for Adults

United School runs a wide range of English courses for people wanting to learn English as a foreign language.
Our method focuses on speaking and doing, rather than book learning. From lesson one your teacher will speak to you in the target language. Pictures, role play, props and film will help you understand quickly, making the learning experience dynamic and enjoyable. All our teachers are native speakers so you'll have the added benefit of an authentic insight into the culture and countries behind the language.
There are day and evening English courses for adults learning English, who need to fit their studies around other commitments. Whatever your level, United School teachers will help you become confident and work towards fluent English. Our current General English Courses are divided into various levels according to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Lower level classes have a substantial element of Everyday English, while many of the classes at the Upper-Intermediate level are preparing for the Cambridge exams.

- Adult courses are one hour and half twice a week
- Each level has the duration of five months
- Summer intensive courses are in June, July and August
